| 강사 소개 | April 7th, 2019 Dear Hiring Director, My name is Daniel Luke Gonzalez and I am interested in applying for a job teaching English. I have been teaching English to Koreans since 2014 and have greatly enjoyed my time in Korea. These last 5 years in Korea have been amazing. If you are looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and experience English teacher, I can do it. I have many qualifications for teaching English. For education, I have graduated with a BA in Theology (religious studies) from Southern Adventist University, with minors in ancient language translation, ministry, and western intellectual tradition. I also graduated with honors through the Southern Scholars program. My undergraduate education was heavy on reading as well as translation and public speaking. I have taken 4 college classes on public speaking in college. In addition, I have a certificate from the US federal government through the ABCTE program to teach English for grades 6-12. I am also currently working on TEFL certification (170 hours) and will complete this certification before July. Lastly, I am currently working on a master’s degree in English literature through Northern Arizona University. In addition to English skills, I can teach several professional and computer related skills. I am skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a bit of Access). I am also trained in teaching public speaking skills. If it is part of a business, I can probably teach it. I currently live in Korea and am available for in-person interviews if needed.
