My name is Earl Rubino. I have been a teacher since 2004, so I am very comfortable lecturing, educating, and presiding over my classroom. Lately, I have been teaching in Texas, but prior to that, I was teaching ESL in South Korea for several years. I taught all ages of students at all skill levels, so I learned how to seamlessly adapt my teaching strategies depending on my students’ abilities. My students thoroughly enjoyed my class as evidenced by how hard they worked, how much they learned, and the hundreds of gifts they bestowed upon me before I returned to America. Besides teaching in the classroom, I hosted school contests, wrote and directed school plays, and trained new teachers. The memories of my time in Korea are unforgettable, and I still have many lifelong friends I met there. I feel a special attachment to Korea,especially its rich culture and cuisine. In addition to my ESL teaching experience, I have the ideal attributes for a teacher. First, I am extremely positive person, who has a good rapport with everyone, never complains, and believes my students will succeed. Second, I am meticulous in my organization, so I have everything planned out, do not waste time, and know exactly what I am supposed to do at any given moment. Third, I am a diligent worker, dedicated to giving my utmost effort to ensure peak performance in everything I do. The combination of these strengths gives me the confidence to achieve whatever I set out to do. |
