강사 소개 | I am the youngest in the family, with an older sister who is currently living in Dubai, working for Design Company. My parents and I have been living in New Zealand for around 12 years; basically it is my home country. Since I was a Teenager, I was recognized by an excellent fluency in English among the other Korean students situated at school. Throughout the times of middle and secondary schooling, I was able to demonstrate my English skills in a much more appropriate way and also being able to improve on it with the support gained from the qualified teachers. In 2010, I was able to graduate AUT University majoring in English studies without any difficulties. The times spent at the university provided me an opportunity to study English more in-depth which definitely extended my basic knowledge and skills. Although I had not been through a lot of teaching experiences, I am very confident to say that short times of teaching experiences at New Zealand elementary school and working at English village gave me a broad insight about the teaching professionalism. From those practical and academic studies that I have achieved, I have come to discover my potential role as a teacher gaining many teaching strategies that are efficient to develop on a child’s learning. I believe personally that I have a definite potential to be an effective teacher, as I have a bright and positive personality with a charismatic tone of voice. Having a clear and healthy voice is important when teaching. Secondly, I am able to create a collaborative and cooperative learning environment for the children to interact affectively with the classmates and also with me, having no appealed to authority in creating rapport. Carrying out a collaborative learning environment within the classroom is important as it is very innovative and creative which stimulates the child’s motivation. Most importantly, I am a self-assured person as having a good recognition of fluency in English and this can be very helpful for those who are lacking self-esteem to communicate in a precise manner. Teaching suits me, as I am a very enthusiastic and willing person who takes on irresistible passion for the children at youth and Teaching is exactly what I want to do in the future for my career option and I thought it would be beneficial for me to enhance my professional skills through the experience of new teaching environment in Korea. |
