| 강사 소개 | Hi, I have been working in Korea for the past 7 months at Yale Academyin Suncheon. I was informed today thatthey are in financial strife and can no longer keep me on as an employee. My position will therefore be ending inDecember this year and I am looking for a new position to undertake. My current job is working withelementary-middle school students, 5 days a week, 7 hours a day from2-9pm. I enjoy this immensely. I have not taught English prior to thisposition, but have worked as a tutor in Australia for fellow students ofdiffering levels in chemistry and archaeology while undertaking my degree andfor one year during my Honours for 6 hours a week exclusively teaching firstyear students in chemistry. I have been undertaking Korean lessonssince my arrival here in April and am enjoying living and working in Korea. | 경력사항 | Education: I have two degrees, a Bachelorof Arts and Bachelor of Science (Honours), majoring in Archaeology andChemistry from the Australian National University. I graduated from my degree in 2009 and priorto starting my position in Koreain April I was working for a government agency Geoscience Australia as a laboratoryassistant. Teaching: While here in Korea I have been teaching Englishto elementary-middle school students, 5 days a week, 7 hours a day. Prior to April when I began working in Korea I havenot had any experience teaching English to foreign students, but I have hadother teaching experience during my studies. For 2009 I worked as a teacher for first year chemistry studentsteaching them for 6 hours a week, and prior to this I have worked in a tutorrole with archaeology and chemistry students of differing levels. |
