강사 소개 | Teaching Philosophy I believe that students learn best when they are inspired and engaged. As a teacher, my role is to provide students with a rich learning process which is challenging but relevant to their own lives. When this is combined with a highly organised, firm but fair, student-centred approach, I believe that genuine learning can take place. Furthermore, I will establish and maintain an inclusive learning environment which appreciates the contextual factors that influence teaching and learning. In order to do so, I will endeavour to be knowledgeable about myself as well as my students, so that strong relationships can be built with and amongst students. Simultaneously, I will aspire to create a caring and positive learning environment, by encouraging active involvement, recognising effort and normalising success. As a first-year registered teacher, I am aware that my personal philosophy will evolve over time. In my professional growth as a teacher, I will take teaching as an inquiry, and critically reflect on my own teaching practice. I will continue to welcome difficulties and challenges, to become a better teacher and a life-long learner. |
