| 강사 소개 | I was born and raised in Calgary, Canada. I have always sought new adventures and different challenges. Some of my hobbies and interests both past and present include motorcycle riding, auto racing, camping, canoeing, and paragliding. I own a small farm in Saskatchewan that I will return to one day to finish the house renovations, build a barn, and start organic gardening. I’m never bored and always create excitement everywhere I go. I thrive on fresh new ideas and embrace positive growth and development while resisting change for change’s sake. |

| 경력사항 | I have taught ESL to Koreans in Korea and Canada. I have been successful at teaching all levels of ESL learners from kindergarten to adult. I create a warm learning environment in the class and an excellent rapport with students. The end result has been my students excel in language learning, and develop a love and confidence to continue studying English long after I have moved on. I’m touched by how many and how often former students contact me just to say hi and tell me how their English is improving. Teaching ESL is an ever-developing career. I’m thankful for the TESOL training I have received and the networks with other teaching professionals I’ve made through seminars and workshops. Teaching is a daily challenge that I measure my success in by the end result of the student’s improvement. So, my experience? Mainly teaching elementary school aged kids. Currently, I’m focused on teaching adult learners. My enthusiastic personality makes me a good kindergarten teacher, but I’m a little old for that now right? |
