| 강사 소개 | I am currently an English teacher at Mokdong MAGNET. I am looking to obtain a full-time teaching position in Seoul for this coming March. I graduated from the University of Victoria in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. I’ve always been interested in learning different languages and exploring various cultures. So when the opportunity came, I decided to go on an exchange semester at Seoul National University in 2011. Upon completion of my academic exchange, I travelled to Hong Kong and successfully completed two internships with The Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Flight Centre Hong Kong, respectively. During my eight-month stay in Hong Kong, I enrolled in The University of Hong Kong and studied the Korean language as a part-time student. I am a hardworking, dedicated and creative English teacher with experience teaching various subjects including Reading, Writing, Grammar, Social Studies and Debate. I am currently into my second year of teaching in Korea and thoroughly enjoy my experience here. Working at Mokdong MAGNET gave me the opportunity to teach advance students different subjects and challenge them in discussions and debates. I have also completed a one year term with Chungdahm Learning in Gimhae at the start of my teaching career in Korea. My teaching role allows me to interact with children and facilitate a comfortable environment for my students to learn. I am a passionate, knowledgeable and outgoing teacher with one and a half year experience teaching elementary students. I believe in creating a fun atmosphere where students can be creative while practicing real world English. |

| 경력사항 | I first came to Korea back in 2012 as an exchange student at Seoul National University. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life, and it eventually brought me back to Korea in September of 2013. I taught at Chungdahm April in Gimhae my first year in Korea and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I was able to develop a trusting relationship with my students and inspire them to learn. My one year stay at Chungdahm actually motivated me to stay in Korea and pursue a master degree in TESOL. Upon completion of my contract at Chungdahm, I decided to move to Seoul and experience the big city life. I am currently a teacher at Mokdong MAGNET teaching returnee elementary students. I teach varying subjects including Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Debate, Grammar and Theater. I am a firm believer that students learn best when they are engaged and the lessons are creative and interactive.
