강사 소개 | Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to submit my application for this job as I am keen to work in Seoul and like the Hongdae area. I have recently completed my CELTA qualification which gave me a chance to practice and refine my teaching skills, focusing on a student centred approach. The course helped me to plan and deliver lessons to students over a variety of levels. These lessons covered language points such as grammar, lexis and pronunciation, as well as skills lessons to improve speaking, reading, listening and writing. I really enjoyed the student centred approach and the emphasis on learning by discovery. This is different from the way I was taught language at school and I feel it is much better for students, giving them better retention and more practice using their skills. Therefore I am excited to put this method into practice again. I have had previous experience of working in childcare and also really enjoy looking after my friends' children so working with children is something that appeals to me, and I have had practice at setting boundaries as well. My previous roles have involved working as a team and being flexible on working hours as well as being a great communicator, which I think are important qualities to bring to this role.
