| 강사 소개 | I am an experienced teacher interested in teaching position at your school. Teaching has been my passion since my first job as a teacher after college. I have always enjoyed interacting with children as a Sunday school teacher for many years. After teaching variety of subjects to pre-school and kindergarten kids for more than a year, I decided to go to Korea to teach English as I appreciated how Korean parents valued English education for their children. While teaching in Korea, my ability to communicate with parents was crucial to successful execution of English education programs. In addition to teaching, I liked being a liaison between other non-Korean speaking instructors and parents to achieve results as one team. Since education is the most effective when teachers collaborated with parents, my ability to speak both Korean and English will be an asset to your school. After I came back to US after teaching in Korea for one year, I continued to work in education field by tutoring elementary and middle school students. I have also worked as an academic advisor which provided a great opportunity to help shaping the program and collaborate with a team of instructors and parents. As an advisor, I spent more time on managing program and teachers, but I continue to find time to teach. I learned how to operate language institutes by managing instructors, communicating with parents, and working closely with students. I’m passionate about teaching because all my life experiences can be used in teaching. The compassion and patience I learned from years of volunteering at church to teach children with development disabilities can be easily applied to teaching. Knowledge can be taught by anyone; however, helping to shape a child’s character is priceless. I am excited to work as an instructor at your school where I can bring my years of experience in the education field in working with many different types and ages of children to achieve great results for children’s education. |
