Hello, it is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for a teaching position to this agency. I am a graduate that has a deep passion for teaching English and being a part of the Korean culture. I worked as a owner of a restaurant, which lead me to have empathy, understanding and social skills. So I am very perceptive when it comes to being organized and being on time. Not only that, but I was blessed to teach at a wonderful Academy in Korea located in Daegu and learned a lot from that experience. I have gained knowledge and methods to teach in a way that’s fun and effective for the students. Repetition is the mother of skills and through repetition I believe I have acquired the right balance and attributes for teaching. I have cultivated a lot of effective ways to teach while working for my current Director. The Director I worked for is the Branch Manager of GnB (a hagwon franchise). He has many years of running private Academies. So he was very selective of who he picked to work for him as a teacher, mainly because I was the only foreign teacher to teach English at his Academy. But this gave me a more immersive learning experience as a English teacher. I enjoy being an English teacher and am currently passionate about it and always do my best to carry on with integrity. I also integrate patience and understanding into the equation as well. Having a mature mindset (although I still have more to learn) and yet being energetic and young at heart really allowed me to enjoy teaching kids. I can guarantee that most of the students I teach, will like me as their teacher. I am excited and highly anticipating a chance to teach at a public school and to put in my best efforts. I am an experienced teacher that has learned the proper skills and channel to teach students. I am a quick learner and adapt quickly to the enviroment I am in. I taught at a Private Academy for a year for a Director who I learned a lot from. Since he is the Branch Manager of GnB (a hagwon franchise in Korea). He had many years of experience of running a Private Academies and that helped when it came to becoming a effective teacher. I have experience teaching English to Elementary school children and grown adults. Did planning and taught English in classrooms, for small groups of adults in private housing and even did private tutoring for parent’s kids. I am fluent in English and know basic Korean. I am not a teacher that just goes by paycheck to paycheck, but actually enjoy what I do and put care into what I do. Plus I do like kids and I can guarantee that most of the student will like me as their teacher.
