I am a British Citizen (born) and have a Bsc. Hons degree, also a 140 TEFL certificate including?classroom teaching from I-to-I. I am a highly organised individual with the ability to work within a team or on my own initiative. I am conscientious and motivated by challenges, innovation and positive energy and always ready to take on new responsibilities and adventures. My teaching philosophy and belief, is that all students come into the classroom with pre-existing knowledge that contributes to their learning process, whether this is linguistic or lived experiences. I make an attempt to discover and exploit this knowledge from the outset by surveying my students’ linguistic knowledge and personal experiences. Then I encourage my students to capitalize on their strengths and experiences in order to develop their English abilities. Not only is it important for me to teach my students the mechanics of English, it is also very important for me to instruct my students in the proper use of the language.? My constant and continuous aim in my teaching career is to make a difference to students by nurturing and expanding their abilities and enrich their minds in new and creative ways that assist their understanding, ability and evaluation of learning the English Language.

I have completed a one year contract working?in Suwon with Kindergarten and Elementary children aged 5 to 10 and am now teaching at a private academy working with students aged 5 to 14 in Isu, Seoul.I have experience in Lesson Planning, bi monthly reports, Parents and children's telephone conversations, Event Days and festivals, curriculum planning and weekly newsletters.
