I came to Korea looking for a challenge and some work experience after finishing my degree. I'm the type of person who would rather ride a unicycle than a bicycle just because it's harder and no one else is doing it. In fact, almost every day I've taught, that's how I've gotten to school.

The unicycle brings smiles to the faces of passersby as I go along my way, and I try to do the same for my students by bringing a sense of humour into the classroom.

I love Korea and I keep learning more about its culture and language (and food!). I'm in a committed relationship and I'm looking to stay here for the long term.

I graduated on time from a four-year Bilingual (French and English) Bachelor of Arts program at York University's Glendon College in Toronto. I majored in English literature and minored in linguistics, and exceeded my college's French language requirement.

In Korea, I taught at a highly respected private English school in Wonju for 4 years. I worked together with other foreign instructors, teaching students in a full immersion environment in all subjects (reading, writing, speaking, math, science and social studies).

I have taught students ranging in level from zero previous English knowledge, who don't know the ABCs, to high school graduates who have been accepted at American universities.
