Responsibilities Teaching English as a second language to over 700 students, male and female at a Korean public middle school in South Korea. Ranging from a variety of topics, such as culture from around the world, to human rights and art.
Accomplishments Seeing how the students have improved year after year, obtaining a better understanding of the outside world, how they have a much better grasp of the English language, how to use it everyday and how they shouldn't be scared to try and use it at School and out.
Skills Used I have had to create my own materials for lessons, create a years curriculum for three different grades. Keeping students attentions by making them interactive and informative, giving them the knowledge they can use to take away and use. Working in a team with over 100 members of teachers and 10 support staff. Using my graphic design and media background to create new and exciting ways to learn English.

Accomplishments Seeing the students gauge a better understanding of English and being able to use it positively and build up their ability every week was a big accomplishment.
Skills Used Communication, vocabulary and pronunciation skills played a big role in getting the students to effectively communicate and understand. Creating lessons that always allowed the different skill sets in the class to be able to get something more out of the lesson. |
