My name is Zach Falldien and I am a native English speaker from Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. I have a four year Honours Bachelors degree in Community Development and understand the meaning of building community in whatever setting I am in; especially in the classroom! I have one years worth of experience teaching business in my hometown in the form of workshops and one-on-one business development sessions and understand all of the logistics behind planning a full and comprehensive lesson for whatever audience being worked with. From that one year of teaching business I have seen what teaching can do to benefit individuals and know this is what I am meant to be doing with my professional career.
Taking my TEFL certification in Nicaragua has given me 10 hours of English teaching practical experience as well as 120 hours of course work to really garner a holistic understand of teaching as well as the many perspectives behind teaching to build an interactive classroom! In my spare time I love being around my niece and nephew and watching them grow, as well as practicing guitar and banjo. hope you will give me the chance to be a part of your team and am readily available for employment or for a Skype to chat.

| 경력사항 | My education truly has pushed for the experience I have thus far gained and am hoping to gain in Korea. I have a four years Honours Bachelor degree in Community Development which gave me experiences working in not-for-profits and actually being able to train and teach other student interns who would work with me! After graduating I then moved onto working for the Social Enterprise for Northern Ontario program as their program assistant. As this was a newly developing program I helped develop much of the correspondance and create connections for to make the program much larger and more successful throughout my one-year contract. I also held business workshops, and one-on-one trainings and business plan development sessions on whatever the entrepreneur(s) needed. Making the sessions as inviting, fun and informative as possible was my mission and with great success I was able to watch budding entrepreneurs either start their venture or grow it through needs assessments with the clientele. This was done at times virtually, in-person, or in different communities other than my own. The next teaching experience I had came through my time at the International TEFL Academy in Leon, Nicaragua. This gave me 120 hours of practicum based around teaching English as well as 10 hours practicum. We also had one-on-one teachings with one learner and made specified learning materials to teach them a comprehensive lesson for 2 more hours. |
