To whom it may concern,

I am writing to apply for the teaching position that you are currently hiring for. I have nearly three years of working experience in educational industry in Vancouver, Canada and 1 year was spent teaching English to elementary school students in Seoul. With my range of skills and experience, I would definitely be a perfect candidate for the position.

My years of working at school is the best time so far in my professional and personal experience. It is very rewarding that makes me want to spend extra time and effort to connect and help student. I do not believe this is a job to just make living, it is a work that makes life fuller.

Students I met while working at ESL school varies from a 5 years old little lady to a 70 years old Japanese gentleman. It doesn't matter where they are from or how old they are. I always let them know I care about them and when they can see that I am sincerely there for them, they let me help them have the best experience and result they could have.

I always have my sincere heart in helping students achieve what they want and what they need. When I do my work well, There are is a happy start for both sides, me and students. It is not a happy ending because I never want it to end. It doesn't end there. I have built many precious memory and experience with students and sometimes also parents of the students. I still keep in touch with students from the past after several years they left Canada. Some of them visits Canada again and again because they had such a great time in Canada and I am grateful that I could be a part of it. I know I am the best when it comes to always thinking about students' best interest.

My duties while working at the ESL school and agencies for international students were primarily in helping students with their classes and resolving any issues with not only their life in school but also often outside too. A large portion of my work included counselling students, helping them with English and cultural adjustment in Canada, and communicating with parents of students regarding any concern they have. I occasionally took over the class to teach when the ESL teacher wasn't able to come in. I also spent 1 year in Seoul teaching a private English lesson for elementary school students. 

I have developed a strong understanding and ability to work with students and parents especially from Korea which my cultural background plays as a huge advantage. I am also very comfortable with complex administrative tasks through my professional experience. On a personal level, my educational background in fine arts and graphic design at Film School brings another level of passion and interest to connect to students. In the past, I volunteered teaching arts and crafts session to pre-school children, and I enjoyed the experience greatly.

I am very positive, thorough with my work, and also very personable, so I work well with others. One of my favorite aspects of working at schools and agencies was interacting with a variety of students and helping them have the most satisfying and positive experience at school. Not only did I love working for students, but also I loved working at school with other teachers. I enjoy taking on responsibility and believe that my experience and passion in the industry make me a strong candidate.
